I think that the least thing I can do to start to thank you properly for this, is to write a critique on it since you've opened them; I'll try to stay as fair as possible despite the fact that it's my character who's painted there.

I obviously like this a lot, starting by the idea of a white angel that is well-pictured here to me; The fact she closes her eyes coupled with an inexpressive (or maybe peaceful) face strengthens that idea of quietness and divinity-feeling.

I also like very much how you drew the anatomy and especially your play with the shades on Neige's abdomen, the whole grey part in fact; the muscles are well defined and this is surely something that stands out in this picture. Your management of the light/shades associated with the textures results in something that I surely find well-executed, not only on that grey part of the fur actually, but on the whole. The feathers of her wings are nicely done too, the only thing I would suggest would be to try to soften the edges of them, because it seems to be a bit too much defined from the background knowing the texture of a feather; If you look at one feather from close you can see that it's not "scissors-cut-like" all along but it also has softer parts. It's like fur after all.

Aside from this I love how you drew the water and the reflect of the character and her wings on. The effect supplied by the white and the blue blended together is simple yet very nice and effective to my eyes, not to mention the way those wings gently touch the water. Brings some poetry in my opinion.

I've read that some people apparently have been kinda bothered by the purple gem that appears in Neige's forehead, but as far as I'm concerned this is not something that bothers me at all, since the gem is well-placed in the center of everything, ears, wings (and the half-circle formed by them). It might be kinda bothering if it was placed elsewhere in a less "strategic" point of the picture but that's not the case here. On the contrary I think it brings something more.

What I would suggest in hope to make the picture better though, would be to try to put a bit more of shades here and there to set the elements appart from each other even more. For example, Neige's ears are kinda blended into the wings, same for the arms and shoulders, and the hair strands; I would have suggested to try to define them a little deeper.

But to finish on a more subjective note anyway (I have to), I'd to say that I've been really nicely surprised when I saw this, astonished by the amount of efforts you probably put in that picture that I am personaly very pleased to see, and I've been staring at it for a long time to appreciate every part of the picture as much as deserved. Makes me wonder what inspired you to draw that... But I'm also very happy to see that my character is able to inspire you to do such great things.

Thanks a bunch bro! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" title=":D (Big Grin)"/> You can't imagine how much I love this.
